# Manual Update

Step 1. To update your theme you need to download its latest version from your [Download page on ThemeForest](https://themeforest.net/downloads)​

Step 2. Using an FTP client, login to the server where your WordPress website is hosted.

*Step 3. Using FTP Client, upload the folder with the theme overwriting all the theme files.*

> **Note:** Always update **ONLY** parent theme and **NEVER** update your child theme. Updating child theme will result in all your customisation done in child theme lost!
